The Dental Masters Series Bone Grafting Course is designed for experienced clinicians who want to expand their skill set to include advanced bone grafting and reconstructive surgery. This 6 day course includes Lectures, multiple Hands-On Labs, Demonstration Surgeries and 2 Days of Hands-On Cadaver Surgery Exercises.

Course Objectives

The Ti-Max Advanced Bone Grafting Course will provide the participant with the fundamental knowledge to be able to understand and perform the techniques required to rebuild atrophic ridges and perform sinus grafting. At the conclusion of this course participants will have performed all of these techniques on Cadavers and experienced clinicians will be ready for live patient procedures.

Dr. Bernee Dunson has been in full time private practice focused on aesthetic and reconstructive implant Dentistry since 1996. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, completed a general dentistry residency at Columbia University Harlem Hospital followed by a three year implant residency at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Dunson currently serves on the faculty for the following AAID Maxicourses: Las Vegas, Iran, India and Abu Dhabi. He also served as a faculty member at the Georgia Health Sciences Maxicourse for 10 years. Dr. Dunson is Secretary of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Board of Directors, Past Chairman and Examiner of the AAID Admissions & Credentialing Board, Chairman of the AAID Foundation Board of Directors and a member of the AAID Education Oversight committee. He also serves as an examiner for the ABOI. Dr. Dunson has published several articles on dental implantology. He is an article reviewer for the “Journal of Oral Implantology” and Associate Editor of the “International Journal of Clinical Implant Dentistry”. He has lectured widely on the topic of Dental Implants and routinely gives seminars on advanced bone grafting techniques as part of the faculty at The Tatum Institute Atlanta.

Richard A. Borgner, DDS, received a BA in chemistry from Walsh University in Ohio in 1964. He attended graduate school at Akron University studying advanced inorganic chemistry and human genetics. In 1972, he received his dental degree from Case Western University School of Dentistry.

After having placed his first dental implant in 1974, Dr. Borgner has had a special interest in implant dentistry for nearly 40 years. He completed his post graduate training in oral implant reconstruction at Harvard University, Brookdale Medical Center (New York), and Medical College of Georgia (Augusta). Subsequently, he completed a four year hospital based residency in oral implantology through Loma Linda University. After completion of this program he became Clinical Director of the off campus hospital training programs.

He has lectured at major meetings throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, India, Canada, and Russia. He routinely gives seminars on advanced bone grafting techniques as part of the faculty at The Tatum Institute. Dr. Borgner has published numerous articles in professional journals on implant procedures and practice management. He has carried out research on immediate loading of dental implants, the comparison of different graft materials for use in sinus augmentation, and the efficacy of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) when added to allografts.
