He is a member of the AAID Maxicourse Committee and Admissions & Credentialing Board, a former Trustee of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, former Councillor of the Ontario Dental Association, District Officer of the AAID and a part time clinical instructor at the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, AEGD Program.

Rita Bauer has become recognized as a leading authority on integrating digital photography in the Dental Practice. During her 30 years as medical photographer and manager at Media Services at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto she has presented over 800 lectures and workshops and has trained thousands of dental professionals around the world. She now divides her time between the University and Bauer Seminars to provide lectures and workshops at national and international meetings. Her enthusiasm for the subject is infectious and in her fun filled lectures she transforms inexperienced photographers into enthusiastic, competent digital camera users and gives experienced photographers plenty of tips to make a difference in their daily routine. For her efforts to the dental community she has received Honorary Memberships from the OKU Honor Dental Society, as a Fellow of the International College of Dental Surgeons, the Award of Distinction from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and an ad eundum Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland.

Dr. Iyer is Clinical Asst Professor in the Departments of PG Periodontics, PG Prosthodontics and Implant Fellowship Programs at the New Jersey University Medical Dental School and at Rutgers University. He is President Elect of the American Academy Of Implant Dentistry, the Director of Smile USA Center for Reconstructive Dentistry and President of the Center for Educational Excellence. Dr. Iyer sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Oral Implantology. He has lectured in over 30 countries and maintains a private practice limited to Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

Mel Hawkins graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry with his DDS degree in 1973 and returned for his formal training in Dental Anesthesiology at the same University from 1975-1976. He is the Founding Director of the Intravenous Sedation Certification, Continuing Education Program in Canada at the University of Toronto and the University of Alberta. He has over 30 years of private practice experience in Toronto, Canada, with special emphasis on pain control and patient management and unique local anesthesia requirements for the dental patient. Mel has been lecturing throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia for over 40 years.

Dr. Hawkins is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiologists and is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Hawkins holds honorary fellowships with the International College of Dentists and with the Pierre Fouchard International Academy. Dr. Hawkins is an author, clinician and speaker on topics concerning sedation and pain free management of the dental patient and for ten consecutive years from 2005-present has been recognized as an Annual Leader in CE by "Dentistry Today".

Dr. Andreana is Associate Professor and Director of Implant Dentistry at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He also serves as Director of the University at Buffalo Implant Study Club. Previously, was Professor at Loma Linda University, Department of Periodontology.

He graduated in Dentistry from the University of Roma La Sapienza School of Dentistry and obtained a Master in Sciences at the University at Buffalo. From 1990 – 2005 he worked as chief Investigator at the Periodontal Disease Research Center and at the Center for Dental Studies, University at Buffalo.

He was Manager of the Applied Testing Center of Ivoclar Vivadent Inc., Senior manager of Research and Development at the Microbiology Oral Care Division of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and Senior Manager and Head of the Oral Care Microbiology Research and Development of Johnson and Johnson Co.

Larry Graduated from Technikon Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1993. Larry is currently co-owner of DLA Dental Laboratories, a laboratory specializing in CAD/CAM Dental Technology.

Larry is one of only a few technicians that have participated in and completed a surgical mentorship program in implant dentistry. He is currently the Technical advisor for the AAID. (American Academy of Implant Dentistry) Ti-Max Implant Maxicourse and has been on this faculty since its Toronto inception. He is also a member of the A.A.C.D.

David Kochberg is a Registered Dental Technologist and co-owner of DLA Dental Laboratories Ltd. Under his direction, it has placed its emphasis on implants and aesthetic dentistry. He is cofounder of the Toronto Implant Study Club, the Academy of Dental Technology, and of the International Dental Congress.

He has been an active lecturer for the Ontario Study Club for Osseointegration, for the Association of Dental Technologists of Ontario, and the US-based Academy of Osseointegration.

Mr. Marek Bedynski is a dental technologist specializing in CAD/CAM dental ceramics, cosmetic and digital dentistry. He has over 20 years of experience in the field. Mr Bedynski graduated from Dental Technology school in Vancouver,  BC  and shortly thereafter founded FX Veneers Dental Laboratory. Mr. Bedynski  has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 2000. He has trained with master ceramists from the United States and Europe. Mr. Bedynski  is the owner of CAD/CAM FX Dental Laboratory, Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario where he partners with dentists across Canada and the US to enhance the quality of their patient care.

He serves as Instructor and Faculty on the Misch International Implant Institute. He currently holds the position of President of the Central District of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He serves on the Board of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry, where he holds Diplomate status, is Chair of the Part I Examination Committee and has been serving as an Examiner on the Part II Oral Examination of the ABOI for several years.

Dr. Wilhite is one of only 60 Accredited Fellows in the AACD of over 6,000 members worldwide. He has served on the AACD Board of Governors (currently the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry) and spent years as an Examiner for Accreditation. He is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry and Biomaterials at L.S.U. School of Dentistry. He is on the faculty of the Center for Esthetic Excellence in Chicago. He has been published and feels honoured to have so many opportunities to lecture nationally and internationally. Over the years, his private practice in suburban New Orleans, The Smile Design Center, has become limited to Cosmetic Dentistry. His experience is based on a dedication to the belief that "excellence" and "aesthetics" are not only compatible, but can take dentistry to a new level of satisfaction and success.

Dr. Bernee Dunson has been in full time private practice focused on aesthetic and reconstructive implant Dentistry since 1996. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, completed a general dentistry residency at Columbia University Harlem Hospital followed by a three year implant residency at Loma Linda University. Dr. Dunson currently serves on the faculty for the following AAID Maxicourses: Las Vegas, Iran, India and Abu Dhabi. He also served as a faculty member at the Georgia Health Sciences Maxicourse for 10 years. Dr. Dunson is Secretary of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Board of Directors, Past Chairman and Examiner of the AAID Admissions & Credentialing Board, Chairman of the AAID Foundation Board of Directors and a member of the AAID Education Oversight committee. He also serves as an examiner for the ABOI. Dr. Dunson has published several articles on dental implantology. Richard A. Borgner, DDS, received a BA in chemistry from Walsh University in Ohio in 1964. He attended graduate school at Akron University studying advanced inorganic chemistry and human genetics. In 1972, he received his dental degree from Case Western University School of Dentistry. After having placed his first dental implant in 1974, Dr. Borgner has had a special interest in implant dentistry for nearly 40 years. He completed his post graduate training in oral implant reconstruction at Harvard University, Brookdale Medical Center (New York), and Medical College of Georgia (Augusta). Subsequently, he completed a four year hospital based residency in oral implantology through Loma Linda University. After completion of this program he became Clinical Director of the off campus hospital training programs. He has lectured at major meetings throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, India, Canada, and Russia. He routinely gives seminars on advanced bone grafting techniques as part of the faculty at The Tatum Institute. Giuseppe Intini, DDS, PhD

Giuseppe Intini, DDS, PhD

Dr. Giuseppe Intini is an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Born in Italy, Dr. Intini earned a degree in dentistry in 1995 from the University of L'Aquila in Italy. In 2000, he received a Master's degree in Oral Sciences from the University at Buffalo (USA), and in 2007 he received a Ph.D. in Oral Biology and a certificate in clinical Periodontology from the University at Buffalo (USA). From 2007 to 2012 he has been a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

As a clinician scientist he has clinical interest in bone augmentation procedures and research interest in bone and cancer stem cell biology.

During his postdoctoral fellowship, his work and teaching have been recognized by the Harvard School of Dental Medicine Dean's Scholar Award, the Young Investigator Travel Award from the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, the Teaching Fellowship from the American Academy of Periodontology, and the AAP Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics.

In 2010, Dr. Intini was awarded a K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award from the NIH/NIDCR to study the distribution and activation of osteoprogenitor stem cells in intramembranous bone.

Dr. Robert J. Yetto is a 1983 graduate of the SUNY/Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He completed a 2 year program of post graduate training in Esthetics in 1997 at Buffalo, and was then invited to join the faculty of the newly established Esthetic Dentistry Education Center at SUNY/Buffalo, where he continues to teach dental students in the latest cosmetic & restorative techniques. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in both the undergraduate and postgraduate dental school divisions, and he is Course Director for the Advanced Adhesive Dentistry senior elective. He also serves as program director for the Esthetic Concentration program.

Dr. Jay Elliott received his D.D.S. from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 1980 and opened his general practice in Houston in 1981. He placed his first implants in 1989 and in 1995 attended the AAID MaxiCourse® in Atlanta, GA. In 1997, Dr. Elliott began a 3-year hospital based residency program in implant dentistry at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry from which he graduated in 2000. He is a full time practising dentist whose practice is focused on Dental Implants. In addition to running the Texas AAID Maxicourse he is also a member of the AAID Admissions and Credentialing Board.

Dr. William Liang attended the University of British Columbia and received his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in 1981 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 1983. At graduation, he was awarded the Canadian Oral and Maxillo-Facial Prize for highest standing in the area of Oral Surgery. He has been practicing dentistry in Surrey, BC for the past 30 years. Currently his practice is focused on adult restorative and implant dentistry. He is the current chair of the AAID Maxicourse Committee and a member of the AAID Board of Trustees.

Dr. David Clark is the former (retired) Clinic Director of Dental Services at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in Whitby, Ontario. He is also an Instructor in Dentistry, Department of Oral Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. He obtained his DDS at the University of Toronto in 1976 and his MSc. in Oral Pathology (Western) in 1986. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and Academy of Dentistry International. He received the Award of Distinction from the Academy of Dentistry International in 2015 for his dedication and contributions to the field of Continuing Dental Education. He received the Award of Merit from the Ontario Dental Association in 2016. His hospital-based practice was devoted to the general dental care of individuals undergoing primary care for various forms of psychiatric illness often co-existing with other medically compromising conditions. He currently participates in the teaching of the undergraduate dental curriculum relating to the topics of Oral Medicine and Oral Diagnosis at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. He is also a part-time clinical instructor (Dental Hygiene, Year 2) at Durham College, Oshawa, Ontario and (Denturism Program Year 3) at George Brown College, Toronto, Ontario.
